English Language Learners (ELLs) face unique challenges in academic achievement, often compounded by limited family engagement due to language and cultural barriers. This poster presents a collaborative initiative titled "A Shared Journey", which aims to bridge this gap by fostering meaningful family involvement through school library STEM programs. By creating inclusive, multilingual, and culturally responsive library environments, the program successfully encouraged 40% of ELL families to actively participate in their children's educational journey. Through hands-on STEM activities, bilingual resources, and family-centered events, the library became a hub for learning, connection, and empowerment. The initiative not only improved student engagement and academic confidence but also strengthened the home-school partnership essential for long-term success. This presentation highlights key strategies, community feedback, and measurable outcomes, offering a replicable model for schools seeking to support ELL students through family-library collaboration.
