Outreach to computer science and engineering students and international students to strengthen connection

Librarians strive to build community and connection through outreach. In this presentation, the presenter discusses four outreach events to computer science and engineering students through collaboration with IEEE Xplore, a major computer science and electronic engineering vendor. The outreach themes included the history and future of artificial intelligence, building connections, and cyber security. Additionally, the presenter will talk about outreach activities during the International Education Week to advocate for academic integrity and other collaborations with the Office of Global Education. These events can be adapted to fit other academic libraries.
