The Evaluation Experience of Authentication Systems in Pratt Institute Libraries
Title
The Evaluation Experience of Authentication Systems in Pratt Institute Libraries
Subject
Description
In the past decade, electronic resources have dramatically increased, posing a challenge for academic libraries to explore technologies for authentication to improve accessibility and usability, thereby providing better services for patrons. In this presentation, speakers will share the security and stability concerns they are facing. This has led them to collaborate with campus IT to revisit the existing system, decide to evaluate and assess different products, ultimately considering migration to OpenAthens.
