Description
This poster will present on the sustainability and diversity of
Library Exhibits at UHM Hamilton Library. The poster will provide
examples of how cultural, social, historical and international themes
contribute to exhibit diversity. In addition, the ways in which the
Exhibits Committee tackles the challenges of limited resources and
staffing in order to successfully handle procedures, marketing, and
collaborations among constituents will be explained.
Along with displaying examples of successful exhibits and describing
Exhibits Committee operations, the poster will present results from a
library exhibits survey. The survey aims to examine diversity and
sustainability of exhibits across library departments. Through
qualitative descriptions, survey results will illustrate how
librarians and staff collaborate to design and implement displays.
